In the Shelter

I'm not quite sure what the news over in the States is about what is going on here, but I have a feeling that they aren't really showing it all. By that I mean, I assume the media is moving more in sympathy for Hamas, even though they are responsible for this all. where I am living, is on the edge of where the rockets have been landing, and so it is a lot safer (relatively) than those located closer to Gaza. But even at this distance, it needs to be understood how much life is being affected by the rockets that Hamas is shooting into Israel. For example, my relatives are not able to attend school as they aren't close enough to shelter and even my cousin who goes to school outside of the rocket range (as of now) isn't attending either as they don't want the children to wait outside for the bus. This was done in Be'er Sheva a couple of days ago and the following morning, a rocket fell on a school where children would have been killed had they attended. Just because not as many Israelis are being killed, it doesn't mean that everything else is being affected. One of the worst places is Sderot, located 3 km from Gaza and have been hit with rockets non-stop for the past 7 years. they have 15 seconds to find shelter. Here is a good video on it:

one more:

It is just disgusting how they are doing this. Even here life is coming to a slow halt. Then the worst is the left wing Israelis who do more harm than good. For example, this group was protesting outside of an airforce base trying to tell the pilots about the 'blood on their hands'.

These people should move outside of their little Tel Aviv bubble and realize that a large portion of the country is not able to go on with their everyday lives. Wake up and smell the coffee. What, does a rocket need to fall on Tel Aviv for them to realize that this is serious? I hope not....

There is so much to say on this, that all I could do is ramble. But people need ro realize what is really going on here!
